Privacy
A short account of what this site collects and which providers handle it. It is a personal portfolio, so there is very little.
- No accounts
- There is no sign-up or login, and this site has no user database. It is mostly static pages, plus two small server endpoints that deliver the contact and résumé forms.
- Contact and résumé forms
- A submission (your name, email address, optional organization and your message) goes to a server endpoint on this site, which validates it and emails it to me through Resend. This site does not store it in a database. The email stays in my inbox until I delete it, and I use it only to reply. Resend handles the delivery under its own policy.
- Spam protection
- Each form has a hidden field that bots tend to fill, and a limit on how many submissions one address can make per hour. The limit is a counter held in server memory against your IP address. It is not written to a database or a log, and it resets when the server restarts.
- Your files stay with you
- The PDF Workspace and the Résumé Builder process files and text in your browser using pdf-lib and pdf.js. They have no upload endpoint, so file contents are not sent to this site's server. Résumé entries are held in memory only and are lost when you close or refresh the tab.
- Analytics and hosting
- The site uses Vercel Analytics, which records aggregate visit data such as page views, referrer, approximate country and device type. It is cookieless and does not build a cross-site profile of you. As with any host, the hosting provider receives each request, including your IP address, and may keep standard server logs under its own policy.
- External assets
- The typed-signature option in the PDF Workspace loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives a standard request for them. A drawn signature does not.
- Your preferences
- Theme, reduced motion and larger text are stored in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and are not readable by me.
- If you email me directly, I keep the message so I can reply. I do not add you to a mailing list, and there is no mailing list to add you to.
- No selling of data
- Nothing collected here is sold, rented or shared with advertisers. There are no ad networks and no social media pixels.
